California City of DBLO!

😏California truly knows how to party!

A memory of the song from Tupac

Looking back, I can say, I've always had an eye on the path.

I knew how to party, not the problem...

I recognized the vision clearly in my mind, and was uncomfortable whenever I veered away from it...

The commitment to God outweighed any reasonable commitment to myself including thoughts, whether right or wrong, that was not considered part of his/her original plan, for me, and my daughter, challenged my humbled Southern upbringings with external conflicts.

Struggling with temptation. Not her, ME!
No matter what was whispered in my ears. I was not buying.
My perspective and mantra, as a young single mom:

I'm going to get through this...ONLY a test!!!

Popularity amongst friends, lovers & other parents versus responsibility.
Hum.... It never felt right to step outside of the box as a parent, through out my experiences, so I did not.

"One of the better decisions realized"

I recognized early in life that the decisions made was not mine alone. It's like being a witness to ones actions, when stepping out of your own way.

It's called business when working a plan, however when it's your life at stake, and the lives of others, especially small children, when intuned with self, we know that there is a higher voice and CEO that is the Master.

So to say, it is still not my decision entirely, however the ruler of my life (My higher self) calls all the shots, as I live in the City of LA.

Thinking back on Tupac's life, some of my family members like my Aunt Julia (I was often compared to as a child), my Aunt Mary, and cousins, lived in Compton. I resided with both aunts respectively during that time. I also connected with The Paul Robeson Players, while living in Compton, and did many plays and appearances with the multi-talented Repertory Group, I even appeared on stage at Marla Gibbs, Crossroads Theatre, before moving to Hollywood.

I did not know at that time that DBLO was in the making. The greatness, of who she is and how she got to become, where she is today, is all part of this magnificent story, and spirit that resided within me before her birth.

The creation, found in the name of Dominique E. Banos, her foundation, is in The new City of DBLO Attorney at Law!

In the song by Tupac it says, California, it keeps me rockin'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The images from the video above was made with my camera phone. It represents the hustle, the brand and zeal, only six months in LA, six months thriving, six months on Fire for Justice and fair treatment of all human beings, regardless of gender, race, religious-beliefs, nationality, or sexual preferences."
